Undefeated

Good things come to those with a good name. Need proof? Just ask Eddie Cruz and James Bond. In 2001, Cruz, head of Union and Stussy's West Coast operations, and Bond, founder of the now defunct men's emporium KBond, decided that Los Angeles was missing something. While eating hamburgers at a backyard barbecue, Cruz and Bond agreed that they would fill the void by opening a sneaker shop that housed only the most exclusive of kicks. They would base their store on military and sport influences and call it Undefeated. On September 11, 2002, Cruz and Bond opened their doors on 112 la Brea Ave. in downtown Los Angeles. Within a year, business was so good that Undefeated decided to open up shop in Santa Monica, CA. By 2007, the store had spread to Las Vegas, Japan, and Silver Lake, CA. Over its 9 year history, Undefeated has worked with some of our generation's most groundbreaking designers, artists, and photographers - all who have helped continue to design its unique identity and attitude.
